The Natural World is changing and it poses serious new questions to us. Addressing these questions is indeed a great challenge, and requires not only a practical approach but also a creative approach that includes the work on the Soul.
This immersive workshop takes place in our certified Biodynamic garden, and be guided by our longtime guide Matias Baker. Together we’ll explore the paths for developing a personal relationship to the spirit of nature – highlighting the fundamentals of Biodynamic farming practices, and the role of conscious perception. This conscious perception will help us to see our gardens, our farms and our Earth once again as a living being. This is the mission we all have in common, and understanding these ways of seeing will inspire us to collaborate with Nature for the sake of mutual healing.
This workshop is for land stewards, artists, herbalists, backyard gardeners, or any human who seeks to deepen their relationship to Nature. Together we will:
☆ Learn the philosophical foundations of Biodynamic farming practices that can be applied in the grander context of fertility practices such as fermented teas, field preparations, or compost preparations
☆ Discover how to tune into the needs of a plant, garden, farm, etc.
☆ Immerse into the living classroom of the farm organism that is Apricot Lane Farms, to establish a strong foundation for keen awareness of the natural world
☆ Practice observation skills to respect and listen to the land, letting Nature reveal her secrets
☆ Develop a healing relationship to your farm, your garden, and/or the natural world, with practices that apply to the relationship we have with ourself
This spring workshop will be a beautiful new dimension of the story of Apricot Lane Farms, but it requires your curiosity, enthusiasm and participation to come to life… we hope you join us! Spots are limited so reserve yours now, and stay connected as details unfold.
To bring about everlasting change for how we interact with our ecosystem, it will not be because we have forcibly changed the way we act. But when we learn to see… the motivation comes from within. Seeing the world through the eyes of nature, the possibilities for collaboration are infinite — John Chester
