Spring Tours of Apricot Lane Farms (The Biggest Little Farm)

April 6 @ 9:00 - 11:00

Explore The Biggest Little Farm and learn how we grow nutrient-dense food in “harmony” with nature on a 2 hour guided walking tour.

Spring is a time for rebirth and renewed energy on the Farm. Come visit during this magical time to see the summer fruit trees in full bloom, and witness the beauty and bounty of this land.

The farm is 234 acres total; during your 2 hour walking tour, you’ll stop by several key spots, including:

  • Market garden, a certified wildlife habitat growing a variety of vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers. See first hand how we cultivate biodiversity to bolster the immulonolgy of the land and help balance pests and disease while growing food.
  • Cows, chickens, sheep, ducks, goats and guardian dogs all have a role on our farm – who you’ll see depends on the grazing rhythm
  • Farm Fertility Center to learn how we build healthy soil rich in beneficial microbes using worms, compost, and biodynamic practices
  • Wildlife Pond, the centerpiece of the farm’s native restoration and wildlife habitat efforts
  • The Fruit Basket, our most diverse orchard where we cultivate 60+ different fruit varieties with cover crops and pollinator-friendly plants
  • Alan York Lookout to take in sweeping views of the farm
  • A visit to Itty, Emma the pig’s great-granddaughter
